MILHIS – Milan Legal History

Legal tradition, historical research, global perspectives

MILHIS Voices

MILHIS Voices is the space where legal history takes shape through different forms of inquiry.
Through Fragments, Pathways, and Talks, it brings together focused insights, research trajectories, and shared moments of discussion.
Distinct in form yet connected in purpose, these three dimensions articulate a plural, open, and dialogical approach to historical–legal research.

Focused views, precise questions.
Moments where legal history takes shape.
Thinking together.
Voices in dialogue across perspectives.
How research unfolds.
Methods, archives, and trajectories.

As MILHIS Voices takes shape as a space for research and dialogue, we gratefully acknowledge Antonio Padoa-Schioppa, Professor Emeritus of the University of Milan, for his letter introducing the project.
